I'm Jay, a full-stack engineer and tech lead based in Ahmedabad, India. For the last 4+ years I've been shipping production systems end-to-end — designing schemas, building APIs, and owning the UIs that sit on top of them.

Most of that time was at Hind Social, where I joined as a backend engineer and grew into a tech lead and project manager role — taking the platform from a blank slate to a multi-module product, then leading a team of 3–6 engineers. Before that I shipped client work at Terminal Trends: scoping messy requirements and delivering things that actually matched expectations.

Right now I'm focused on AI-native products — LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows. ProcuForge is my latest experiment: two AI agent systems that negotiate and execute procurement autonomously. I think the best AI interfaces are the ones where the intelligence is invisible and the outcome is just faster.

Outside of work: long walks, overengineered side projects, and a stack of technical books I swear I'll finish.
